Eunice Williams died Monday, March 29, at Stanford Lodge in Plainwell. She was 97.
She was born Sept. 8, 1923, in Martin, the daughter of John Sr. and Mattie (DenHouten) Bishop. Eunice was a 1941 Martin High School graduate and lifelong resident of the area. She was an active member of East Martin Christian Reformed Church.
In 1944 she married Alfred Williams who passed away in 2003.
Surviving are her children, Char (Marv) DeMann of Martin, Lois Smith of Paw Paw, Karen (Dave) Misner of Martin, Dwight Williams of Florida and Audrey (Pete) Mulder of Martin; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Michael DeMann and siblings, Marian, Ala., John and Foster.
Friends may visit with Eunice’s family starting at noon Thursday, April 1, at the East Martin Christian Reformed Church until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m.., with Pastor Derek Noorman officiating. Burial will follow at East Martin Cemetery.
