The visitation and funeral for Robert Clawson will be held Thursday and Friday at his family home at 2281 126th Ave., Hopkins.Clawson, 85, was born Jan. 26, 1936, and died Monday, July 5. Born Jan. 26, 1936, in Hopkins, he was the son of the late Grover and Florence (Wuis) Clawson and the husband of Ludivina Gernale (Palasan).
Besides his wife, Ludy, Mr. Clawson is survived by his children, Romeldo Clawson, Joenalo Clawson (Tamara), Shannon Clawson, Anson (Lauren) Clawson and Crystalyn Clawson; siblings, Marrella Jean (David) Norman, Gerry (Karen) Clawson and Loretta (Emerson) Wall; and three grandchildren, Naomi, Kieran and Landon.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 8. The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Friday, July 9, with Pastor Paul Laborde officiating. Burial immediately afterward at Poplar Hill Cemetery.
