dent Marian Longstreet died Sunday, Sept. 6. She was 90 years old and would have celebrated her 91st on Sept. 24.
dent Marian Longstreet died Sunday, Sept. 6. She was 90 years old and would have celebrated her 91st on Sept. 24.Marian was a member of the Wayland VFW Ladies Auxiliary and St. Therese Catholic Church. She also was a volunteer for many community activities.
Marian is survived by her children: Susie (Terry) Frank, Joey (Jim) Gilder, Mike Longstreet, Dennis (Grace) Longstreet, and Jim (Colleen) Longstreet; 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents RV and Helen Cobb, her sister Dorothy Peet, and her husband Ed Longstreet.
Friends may visit with Marian’s family from 6 yo 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, at the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services, 312 N. Main St., Wayland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at St. Therese Catholic Church, Wayland, with Father Christian Johnston presiding. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Wayland.
