Services set Saturday for Sheryl Whipple of Hopkins

Sheryl Katherine Whipple (Shea) died Wednesday, Sept. 22.

Sheryl was born in Hopkins Nov. 2, 1948, the daughter of the late George and Shirley (Montgomery) Shea and later became the wife of the late Stephen Whipple.

Sheryl graduated from Hopkins High and attended college in Muskegon for music. She was talented in everything she did and breathed. Sheryl had a love and endearment for her garden, where she loved spending a lot of her time. She also had a real passion for crocheting and sewing for her family and friends.

In her younger years, she would spend a lot of time and energy with her horses. Sheryl loved spoiling and spending as much time as she could with her great-granddaughter, Madison.

She is survived by her grandchildren; Tyler Whipple, Matthew Reniff, Anthony Whipple, and Jamie Whipple; and great-granddaughter Madison Whipple.

Along with her husband and parents Sheryl was preceded in death by her siblings, Kathy Shea, Jim Shea; and children Scott Whippleand Stuart Whipple.

Family will have a celebration of life Saturday, Sept. 25, at Friendship Bible in Hopkins. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. with a service starting at 11. The family will then have a procession to the cemetery for a noon graveside committal.

Donations may be made to the Tyler Whipple family.
