Martin Public Schools today temporarily shut down at 2 p.m. because of a sewage issue. Supt. Brooke Ballee-Stone said there would be no meetings/events during the afternoon or evening in the Martin Public Schools building proper. However, all away sporting events are still happening as scheduled, but students were asked to go home and be brought back to the parking lot to catch the bus for away events.
