Shelbyville woman captures lunar eclipse Saturday morning

11136654_823947187642234_9179216275800600539_nWayland area photographer Hope Thurston Carter set up her equipment just after 5 a.m. Saturday in order to capture the partial lunar eclipse in the dark skies. This is what she came up with just before 6, in attempting to get a visual record of the famous “blood on the moon” that occurs infrequently around Easter time.
