Allegan County Sheriff’s Deputy Gregg Berens has checked off for the very last time after 42 total years in law enforcement.
Gregg joined the Sheriff’s Office in 1983, patrolling the communities and roads of Allegan County. After 27 years on the road, he then spent another 15 years as a courthouse deputy.
Sheriff Frank Baker commented, “We wish Gregg the best in his retirement and want to say ‘Thank you’ for your service to the sheriff’s office and to the citizens of Allegan County! Certainly a well deserved retirement.”
