The Wayland, Hopkins, Dorr, Leighton, Yankee Springs and Martin fire departments thsi morning were summoned to the scene of a fire at an abandoned house in the 1100 block of 130th Avenue in Wayland Township.
One poster on Facebook commented, “What a sad thing. The house was abandoned because it was bought then left empty. It was a beautiful home at one time.”
No injuries were reported.
