So last week I made enough Sloppy Joe to save a pound of it in the freezer for a busy day backup plan. The following recipe is for the amount you’ll need to make a 9×9 inch casserole, or a 9 inch pie plate will work for this recipe too.
Quick, easy, and something that also works great for a dish to pass.

Ingredients:
1 pound of your favorite Sloppy Joe meat
2 cups of Bisquick original
2/3 cup milk
1/2 cup shredded cheese of choice (optional)
2 eggs
A couple tablespoons of sesame seeds if desired
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Directions:

Have your leftover Sloppy Joe meat ready at room temperature. Set out an ungreased 9×9 baking dish. Mix the bisquick, milk, and eggs together. Evenly spread 1/2 of the Bisquick mixture in your casserole dish. Sprinkle crumbled Sloppy Joe over the dough adding the shredded cheese on the top, drop remaining dough by spoonfuls over top. Bake uncovered about 20 to 25 minutes, until golden brown. Enjoy!
