Snow dump closes schools and Then & Now library

The anticipated snowstorm across West Michigan delivered plenty of the white stuff Wednesday morning, enough to close Hopkins, Martin and Wayland schools for the day and all evening activities as well. It also was enough to shut down the Then & Now historical library in downtown Dorr. Then & Now staffer Kathy Hamman Miller posted, “Due to Wayland and Hopkins having a snow day and weather conditions being as they are, the Genealogical Library will be closed today. It’s a good day to go through your notes and get your questions ready to come in and do some research when the roads are safe.”

This also means the weekly “Bygone Days” feature on Townbroadcast will be delayed until Saturday.

Be well. Behave. Be safe.
