The weather was so pleasant in West Michigan Thursday that families came out in droves to the Wayland City Park. The sign to the immediate west of the police/fire station said the temp was a record 64 degrees and others were reporting between 61 and 63 degrees. Regardless, it was one of the warmest days after Christmas in recent memory. A cool down and some precipitation are in the works for next week, weather experts such as Dan Miller predict.
