Some area citizens joined the estimated 4,000 people who took part in the “March for Our Lives” Saturday in Grand Rapids. The city was one of more than 800 sites nationwide involving hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world who protested gun violence in the wake of the mass shooting that left 17 students and adults dead at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., Feb. 14. Bonnie Steensma of Wayland took this photo of people who marched in Grand Rapids.
