The This Is Wayland web site is reporting that plans are in motion for a special celebration of the life of 17-year-old Ethan Mutschler, who would have been a senior this fall at Wayland High School, but whose life was cut short in a traffic accident Friday evening,  The celebration will be at 9 p.m. Friday, July 19, at the Wayland High School football, including green and white balloons, to pay respects to Ethan and his family. The choice of the football field was appropriate because Mutschler was preparing for his fourth season as a starter on the offensive line for the Wildcat football team.
