“I just learned that my youngest daughter, Ariel, again violated the Mer-Laws, which forbid contact between merfolk and humans, by swimming up to the surface!” Wissner posted on Facebook. “This careless behavior resulted in her missing her premiere solo in the kingdom’s anniversary celebration of my ascension to the throne and my banishment of the evil sea witch Ursula!”
The curtain rises on both performances at 7 p.m.
