Steeby students get a taste of folk tales on St. Patrick’s Day

Title I Teacher Consultant Larinda Olds visited second grade classrooms at Steeby on St. Patrick’s Day Tuesday to teach about folk tales. She taught the elements of a folk tale and read aloud “Jamie O’Rourke and the Big Potato.” In honor of this traditional Irish folk tale the students sampled some potato candy afterward.
