Student teacher Dawn Wedeven, from Lori Howell’s third grade classroom at Steeby Elementary, got a little creative Monday, disguising herself as a detective and searching for clues in the room in order to introduce students to the “mystery” unit in their language arts program. The kids had to “solve the mystery” as to why she was dressed that way and listen to what words she was using to determine the type of books they would be reading in this unit.
