Steve L. Hibbitts, who had a strong family relationship with the Teunissens in Wayland, died of Covid Tuesday, Dec. 21. He was 51.
Steve will be remembered for his huge heart for helping others, the nicknames he gave everyone, always making people laugh, and his love for boating, snowmobiling, and anything else that burns fuel.
Visitation with Steve’s family and friends will be from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, at Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th St. SW, Byron Center. His funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, at Corinth Reformed Church (129 100th St. SE, Byron Center.
He is survived by his wife, Tami Hibbitts; sons Dalton, Wyatt and Trenton; granddaughter Marlayna Romaine; parents Delmar “Bugs” and Sandy Hibbitts; siblings Laurie (Brian) Teunissen, Kimmy (Rick) Perry, Greg (Candi) Hibbitts; cousin, Christy (Jeff) Bylsma; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
