The annual summer Friday night 
concert series at the City Park in Wayland is set for its 2015 season.
The concerts all will start at 7 p.m. on consecutive Fridays next month, including Aug. 7, 14, 21 and 28.
The Wayland City Council Monday night, July 20, approved the $2,164 expenditure for the series, which customarily is picked up by four sponsors. Mayor Tim Bala reported he already has received commitments from United Bank and General RV. He said he will come up with two more as soon as possible.
The musical entertainment will be provided by the Williams Family, the Adams Family, the Ramblers and Wild Kyle, which is led by Wayland High School graduate and Western Michigan University music student bassist Kyle Pitcher.
