d varsity volleyball team won two of four matches Saturday at the West Ottawa Invitational.
The Lady Wildcats made it to the quarterfinals of the tournament, where they bowed out against eventual tourney champion Hudsonville 25-8 and 25-17.
Wayland defeated Lowell and Shelby and lost to West Ottawa in pool play.
Leading the Lady Wildcats were Sidney Ritz with 29 kills, Ritz with six serving aces and four blocks and she came up with 19 digs. Setter Leigha Morse had 49 assists for the day.
