Temple Fitness, the most recent occupant of the building referred to as “The Corner Curse” at 102 W. Superior St., in downtown Wayland, is leaving the site for a new location. The center opened April 17 last year and plans call for moving at the start of May to West Superior to the old Snap Fitness building across from Salvino’s and next door to the Ivy Rehab service. The former Gurney’s IGA building has been home to a huge variety of businesses over the last 49 years, including a hot dog business, ice cream parlor and Mexican restaurant.
