Wayland High School senior Ali Martus Thursday made it 13 matches in a row for recording sub-40 scores in nine holes and sub-80 scores in 18.

Martus this time checked in an even par 36, just one stroke away from the school record she set Tuesday. She also was individual medalist, as she has been for all 13 contests on the links this season.

Wayland finished fourth at the latest O-K Gold Conference Jamboree held at Orchard Hills Golf Course. Grand Rapids South Christian won with a team score of 171, Hasting had 180 and Grand Rapids Catholic Central 198, five strokes better than the Lady Wildcats.

Hunter Fenton carded a 55, Lauren Drew a 56, and Devin Bartell 58.

Wayland plays next on Saturday at the Stugis Invitational at Island Hills Golf Course.
