Wayland Union Middle School students collected 871 pairs of socks during their “Socktober Sock Drive.” They will be donated to Ruthie’s Closet at the United Church of Wayland. Andrea Schrieber’s class donated the most pairs, 202, and won the doughnut and cider party.
