Wayland Union Schools were hosts for the regional competition for Odyssey of the Mind Saturday.

Wayland had four teams participating, with three scoring high enough to advance to the state competition next month. 

The Pine Street/Middle School team, coached by Samantha Oswald, performed Problem 1: Drive-In Movie and placed second in their division, advancing to state.

Pine Street/Steeby team, coached by Tina Burns and Jessica Barnum, performed Problem 4: Deep Space Structure and placed second in their division, advancing to state.

Wayland Union High School team coached by Jennifer Joslyn performed Rocking World Tour and placed first in their division, advancing to state.

The Dorr/Steeby team, coached by Shelby VerHulst, performed Rocking World Tour and placed fourth in their division.
