The Wayland and Yankee Springs Fire Departments are asking area motorists to avoid M-179 (Chief Noonday Road) between Sixth and Eighth streets because of a traffic crash. Emergency vehicles are on the scene and Yankee Springs is assisting Wayland in handling the situation.
