Halloween trick-or-treaters were presented with an extra challenge Tuesday evening with the arrival of a couple of inches of snow, not to mention temperatures hovering in the 30s. There still were some brave souls who showed up at doorsteps, a few of them using their parents as taxi services. It was specutlated that many youngsters chose instead to partake of the sugary goodies at the annual “Hallowed Halls” celebration at Wayland High School or decided to join the variety of Trunk or Treat offerings from local churches. Shown in the photo at left is a small cadre of youngsters doing the traditional thing on the east side of the City Park in Wayland.
