Two Hopkins female harriers Saturday morning at the regionals in Otsego qualified for the Division 3 state championships next weekend.

Freshman Kambria Moored and sophomore Helena Kerber placed ninth and 12^th, respectively, in the 5K race to punch their tickets for the annual race next Saturday at Michigan International Speedway near Brooklyn. Moored finished in 20:21.69 and Kerber in 20:29.0.

The Lady Vikings were sixth in the 12-team competition with 179 points. Host Otsego won with 33.

Rounding out the scoring were Neveah Helderop in 33^rd, Jaeden Harshberger 65th and Abigail Zalis 68^th.

The Vikings boys were 12^th at regionals. Again, host Otsego was team champion.

Adam Ball led Hopkins in 43^rd place with a time of 18:36.31. Kenyon Katje was 67^th, Nathan Onderlinde 70^th, Ryan Williams 76^th and Zachary Wisser 93^rd.
