Wayland Police Chief Mark Garnsey has lauded Austin Nichols (center) and Logan Mishoe as Wayland Police Citizens of the Day after the lads presented him with a wallet they had found. Garnsey said, “Seems they found a wallet belonging to a gentleman from Hopkins. Several $100 bills, $364 total was tucked safely inside.” An Allegan County Sheriff’s deputy has delivered the wallet and money to the owner.
