Two more Hopkins alums to enter local Hall of Fame

Todd Frazee
Terri Wisser

Besides Brent and Susan Sebright, there are two other inductees for the Hopkins High School Athletic Alumni Hall of Fame.

Joining the elite group will be Terri Merren Wisser and Todd “The Jet” Frazee.

Wisser was a three-sport athlete in softball, volleyball and basketball for Hopkins High School, but she made her biggest mark as longtime Lady Vikings’ volleyball coach. She guided the volleyball squad for 31 years, retiring only last year with 745 regular season victories, eight O-K Silver Conference titles and five district championships.

As an athlete she earned nine letters and all-conference accolades.

Wisser started the annual “Volley for a Cure” fund-raising campaign at Hopkins.

Frazee’s greatest claim to fame was as a sprinter, but he earned all-conference honors in track, football and basketball. He was a member of the state semifinalist football and basketball squads. He was school and O-K Silver record holder in the 100- and 200-meter dashed and part of the 400-meter and 1600-meter runs in track. He was one of four Vikings to be named all-state in the 400-meter relay in 1996.

The Hopkins Athletic Hall of Fame Committee said Wisser, Frazee and the Sebrights will be honored on Friday, Feb. 9, in between the boys and girls varsity basketball games.
