Two renovated buildings making progress on South Main Street

Jada Gayle progressAqua In VinoTwo renovated buildings on South Main Street in Wayland are improving the downtown appearance, according to City Councilwoman Lisa Banas, who noted the facade grants facilitated by the Downtown Development Authority are being put to good use. One is the Jayda Gale Distillery owned and operated by Amanda Alfred and Ryan Levitt, who have been working slowly but surely on getting the building all gussied up before it opens at the corner of South Main and Pearl. Across the street,  Arny Rodriguez’s new Aqua In Vino is beginning to take a distinctive shape before its sells wine and cheese.

Two certificates in the front window – one from PCI for building approval – the other from the State of Michigan for the kitchen construction approval – both dated September 2015.
