The Western Michigan University football team played its final home game Tuesday evening at Waldo Stadium against Ball State and two members of the marching band from Wayland took part in the festivities, Ben Gunnett and Zack Savinsky, on the band’s drum line. It was Gunnett’s last appearance on the field, as he is a senior.
