Wayland Board of Education members Dan Cassini and Norman Taylor received several awards May 15 at the Outstanding People for Education Ceremony in Allegan, After completing continuing education classes offered by the Michigan Association of School Boards. Cassini received the Data Skills Specialty and Level 3 Award of Distinction. Taylor received the Level 1 Certified Board Member Award, Level 2 Award of Merit, Level 3 Award of Distinction and Level 4 Master Board Member Award.
