Tyler Ebels this week was selected as the Dorr Township Fire Department Firefighter of the Year. After joining the local department from Georgetown Township Fire Dept years back, Tyler established himself as a role model to new firefighters, mentoring many during the probationary stages. Tyler also is part of the SCBA team, performing weekly inspections to ensure all SCBA are functioning properly.
Fire Chief Gary Fordham (Pictured at right) said, “Tyler, thank you for your dedication and hard work. DTFD is privileged to have you.”
