U.S.-131 NB traffic slowed to a crawl by overpass repair

Wayland Union Schools Director of Instruction Teresa Fulk reported on Facebook today that northbound U.S.-131 traffic was slowed to a crawl because crews were working on the overpass at 100th Street. The bridge has been struck five times in the last several months by semi-trucks and the overpass going west has been shut down. Michigan Department of Transportation crews and officials have been trying periodically to make repairs and renovations.
