Hopkins High School senior quarterback Nolan Smith has been offered the opportunity to play next fall at Indiana Wesleyan University.

Smith, who is listed as 6-4 and 205 pounds, was an all-state honorable mention selection after helping the Vikings fashion a 9-2 overall record and appear in the playoffs, besides winning the O-K Silver Conference title.

Smith completed 66 of 119 passes for more than 1,300 yards and 24 touchdowns in his three-year career as a starter.

Indiana Wesleyan is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and competes in the Mid-South Conference.
