Brenden Gossman gave Kelloggsville fits Wednesday with four hits in Hopkins 11-2 victory in O-K Silver Conference play.
Gossman singled in the first inning, singled in the second, singled in the third, and singled in the fifth.
Hopkins scored five runs in the second inning on a single by Alex Steffes, a single by Gossman, and two errors.
The Vikings captured the lead in the first inning when Brock Eller drove in two when he singled in the first inning.
Zach Brechting earned the win for Hopkins. He threw seven innings, allowing two runs, three hits, striking out ten, and walking one.
Hopkins collected 15 hits. Gossman, Steffes, Brechting, and Ezran Tehennepe each collected multiple hits.
The Vikings now are 8-2-1 for the season overall.
