The Hopkins boys’ varsity basketball team put an end to a three-game losing streak Tuesday evening. by defeating O-K Silver Conference rival Wyoming Lee 54-33.
The Vikings had lost all three to league opponents Godwin Heights, Calvin Christian and Kelloggsville, two of which are state-ranked.
Tyler Zomerlei led all scorers with 21 points.
The Vikings, now 2-3 in league action and 7-4 overall, play next at NorthPointe Christian Friday night at 7:30 p.m.
