The Hopkins boys’ basketball team Tuesday evening won its second straight encounter, stopping Kelloggsville 51-41.
The victory lifted the Vikings’ O-K Silver Conference record to 2-4 and its overall mark now is 4-10.
The Wayland guys Tuesday got back on the winning track with a 59-44 triumph over West Michigan Aviation Academy in a nonleague contest. The Wildcats now are 7-8 overall for the season.
Both the Hopkins boys’ and girls’ basketball teams Monday night emerged victorious in make-up games against O-K Silver Conference rival Comstock Park.
The Viking girls enjoyed a 46-25 merry romp while the boys pulled out a 53-50 squeaker.
The Lady Vikings now are 4-8 for the season and the guys moved to 3-10.
