The Hopkins varsity volleyball team came up big Thursday evening and turned back Comstock Park in four matches.

The Lady Vikings dropped the first set 25-23, but then turned the tables to take 30-28, 25-19 and 25-22 victories to win three of four. Comstock Park earlier this season upset Silver co-leader NorthPointe Christian.

The verdict left Hopkins with a 5-2 record in O-K Silver Conference play. The Vikings are a game back of Calvin Christian and NorthPointe Christian, both of whom were reported to be 5-1.

So it remains a mysteries to what place Hopkins will be in at season’s end. Still ahead is the O-K Silver Conference meet Saturday, Oct. 21, at Hopkins.
