The Hopkins varsity volleyball squad opened its O-K Silver Conference season Wednesday evening with a resounding victory over Kelloggsville.

The Vikings swept three matches, 25-10, 25-9 and 25-11.

“The girls looked amazing at the net and on defense,” said coach Alicia Kent.

Statistical leaders for the night were Cami Hibma with seven kills, Lyla Reynolds two blocks, Ava VanderVolk 11 digs, Lexy Jankowiak six aces and Kylee Sykes with 16 assists.

Hopkins finished second in the O-K Silver Conference a year ago.
