Delores Truax, age 84, died Wednesday, Aug. 19.
Delores enjoyed camping, arts and crafts, bowling and playing poker. Most of all, Delores loved her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Orville J. Truax; children Sue Berry, Scott (Elaine) Fase, Carl Fase, Lisa (Jack) Knowles; daughter-in-law, Sarah Fase; eight grandchildren Heather, Derek, Audrey, Travis, Alex, Jennifer, Adam, CJ, Angie, Lauren, Andrew, Cody; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, Ken (Marcia) Smith; many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clifford Smith and Lillian Snyder; son, Doug Fase; grandchildren Jessica Johnson and Jay Fase; sisters Judy Grant and Jean Shepardson; and in-laws J. (Dorothy) Truax
Visitation with the family will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, 4330 18th St, Dorr.
In honor of Delores, contributions may be made to Allegan County Medical Care Center.
