Visitation will be Friday for Patricia Hayward, 88

Patricia Ann Hayward, age 88, died Tuesday, Feb. 16.

Patricia is remembered as a loving mom and grandma. After retirement, she and her husband Dick often traveled to spend time with their grandchildren. She was a big Tigers baseball fan and rarely missed a game. She also enjoyed reading, working on puzzles, and playing Uno with her family.

She is survived by her children Richard (Patti) Hayward, Glenn (Loretta) Hayward, Craig (Mary) Hayward, and Bruce (Janet) Hayward; 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; siblings Donald (LaDonna) Hoke and Jean (Don) Sutton; and sister-in-law, Janet Hoke; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Richard (Dick) Hayward; parents Walter and Ethel Hoke; brothers Roger Hoke and Lee Hoke; and son, Mark Hayward.

Visitation with relatives and friends will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Feb 19, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, 312 N. Main St., Wayland. There will be a private funeral service with immediate family. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
