VOH stringband logoThe Voice of Hope Stringband will be the musical guests at the next folk music program at 6 p.m. Saturday in downtown Wayland.

“Bound together by a passion to perform bluegrass gospel, this group delivers crowd pleasing standards and sing-alongs blended with nice harmonies and blistering instrumental licks,” said organizer J.D. Gonzales. “Nothing beats cool weather as much as hot bluegrass that warms the soul.”

Voice of Hope will play for a little more than an hour, then there will be open mic, followed by jamming by musicians who attend.

The folk music series takes place on the first Saturday of each month at the Vibrant Grains Bakery and Restaureant, 142 S. Main St., Wayland.
