The Watson Township Boa
rd adopted a balanced 2016-17 fiscal year budget of $218,850 in both revenue and expenditures after a public hearing Thursday night.
Township Treasurer Sue Jones reported the general fund balance, or “rainy day fund,” is pegged at $223,895, or more than 100 percent of the budget.
The fiscal year budget began April 1 and ends on March 31, 2017.
