Wayland City Manager Mike Selden received a favorable evaluation and a raise from the City Council in a closed session Monday night after its regular meeting.
Selden, who came to work at Wayland in April 2012 after serving as city manager at Bangor for four and a half years, was granted a raise of 3% to begin July 1.
His beginning annual salary when he was hired three years ago was $73,000. He received a raise to $74,500 after the first year and was earning $75,977 before he received this increase. So his salary just approved will be $78,256.
