Sandra Lee VanAllsburg died Thursday, Dec. 15, and husband Bruce Allen VanAllsburg followed Sandy with a heavy heart on Sunday, Dec. 18.

From the start, Bruce and Sandy were inseparable. They started and ended each day at each other’s sides. They deeply loved their family, making sure to always spend quality time together. They enjoyed spending time outdoors, boating, camping, motorcycling, and recently enjoying an adventure on their three-wheeler.

Bruce and Sandy are survived by their children Bruce Taylor, Carrie (Mike) Jager, Jennifer (Robert Vogg) VanAllsburg, David (Haile) VanAllsburg; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; Bruce’s siblings, Lori Ames, Cheryl (Kevin) Murray, Ray (Kim) VanAllsburg, Wendy (Jerry) Groeneveld; their four-legged companion, Bella; and many extended family and friends.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents Doug and Betty Grzybowski. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Frances VanAllsburg; his sister, Debbie; and their four-legged companion, Jelly Bean.

Per their wishes, cremation has taken place. Their family will hold a private family gathering in the springtime.
