A milestone of sorts was reached in the Dorr and Wayland areas Tuesday when gasoline prices dropped below $2 per gallon. There has been some speculation that prices could sink to as low as $1.50 by Christmas, but it continues only to be rumors. This sign is outside the Mobile gas station along 142nd Avenue in Dorr. The other three Dorr stations, BP, Marathon and Exxon, also were showing gas at less than two bucks. It was reported to be a penny better at the three Wayland stations, Speedway, Shell and BP.
