Wayland Fire Department pays tribute to former deputy chief

This was the scene Wednesday morning in Wayland during the funeral procession for Dick Kugelard, 72, who died last weekend at his Gun Lake area home. Kugelard was a former deputy fire chief for the Wayland Fire Department and a longtime firefighter before he retired. Members of the department paid tribute to their former deputy chief.
