The City of Wayland’s Fire Department medical unit is now officially in service! This 2017 Ford Explorer has replaced the 2013 Chevy Tahoe. The city acquired this vehicle from a donation by the Gun Lake Tribal Police Department in mid December. The graphic work was done by Extreme Graffix, the radio was installed by Tele-Rad. The medical state inspection was completed Thursday, so the equipment and gear was transferred over and officially licensed to respond to medical emergencies.
