Wayland High School earns bronze rating from U.S. News

us news bronzeWayland Union High School has received a Bronze rating in the 2015 U.S. News Best High Schools rankings.

The report viewed 29,070 schools nationwide and 245 Michigan schools made the ranking. Michigan had 10 schools that received gold medals, 68 with silver medals and 167 with bronze medals.

The rankings are based on college readiness, math and reading proficiency, and student/teacher ratio.

At Wayland Union High School, 20% of the students participate in the Advanced Placement program. U.S. News calculates the values of test scores based on student performance on state exit exams and internationally available exams on college-level course work (AP exams).
