The Michigan High School Athletic Association’s Division 2 softball district tournament will bet under way Tuesday, May 30 in Wayland when South Christian takes on Middleville Thornapple Kellogg.

The winner of that first round game will take on Hopkins at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 3, in the semifinals. Host Wayland then will play Allegan at noon that day.

The winners of the second round will meet for the finals at 2 p.m. June 3.

Wayland’s baseball team will play against Plainwell at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, in the opening round of the Division 2 tourney at Wayland. The winner will meet Richland Gull Lake at 10 a.m. Saturday, in the semifinals. Hopkins will take on Otsego in the other semifinal at noon.

The winners of the semifinal round will meet in the finals at 2 p.m. that Saturday.
